Basic Sewing Class - You want to learn how to sew but don’t know where to start? Have you watched the same sewing video 10 times and are still stuck? Did you buy a new sewing machine and need to figure out how to use it? Well then, this is the class for you.

This is a two hour class. It includes a free basic pattern and a Basic Sewing Student Manual.

Some of the topics we will cover are:

• Overview of some of the different fabrics and essential notions including interfacing and tapes.
• Know your sewing machine.
• Sewing safety.
• Understand a basic pattern.
• Ironing and sewing combo.
• Different basic machine stitches.

Please bring your sewing machine and all notions that you have. 

It is not necessary to bring these, but if you have them then we can teach you how to use your own machine and tools.

• We have various time slots that you can choose from for your convenience. Please do contact me to coordinate date and time.
• We provide all class materials to use including a sewing pattern.
• You can bring your own machine and if you have any notions or sewing materials like scissors, markers, pins, etc.
• Class must be paid in full in order to take the class.
